Position Overview Client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end supply chain operations and technical sourcing activities. This role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective, high-quality procurement of materials—especially electronics, mechanical components, equipment, and engineering services. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier quality management experience, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of engineering-driven sourcing requirements. End-to-End Supply Chain Management • Manage and optimize the entire supply chain cycle, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality sourcing aligned with project requirements. • Monitor supplier performance to ensure reliability, quality, and adherence to delivery schedules. 2. Procurement & Supplier Coordination • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to align procurement activities with technical and operational needs. • Execute sourcing strategies for electronics, mechanical parts, equipment, and services. 3. Supplier Evaluation & Qualification • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers based on technical capability, compliance, and quality standards. • Ensure suppliers meet specifications, certifications, and performance expectations. 4. Supplier Quality Management • Drive supplier quality initiatives, including audits, assessments, and corrective actions. • Implement cost-reduction strategies and negotiate pricing while maintaining quality levels. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with engineering, production, finance, and project management teams to support ongoing projects. • Align supply chain decisions with engineering design, production schedules, and financial requirements. Required Qualifications • Experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier quality engineering, preferably in technical or manufacturing environments. • Strong understanding of sourcing technical materials (electronics, mechanical parts, etc.). • Proven experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance management. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and project teams. • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
