The Director, Talent Acquisition is a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for building and scaling a high-performing recruiting team and programs to support business growth. This role is ideal for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager or Senior Manager who has successfully led teams, driven process improvements, and is ready to step into a Director-level role where you can shape recruiting strategy, build scalable processes, and make a measurable impact on business outcomes. You’ll have the autonomy to innovate, the data to prove results, and the partnership of leaders who value Talent Acquisition as a strategic function. This leader will partner closely with senior business leaders to translate workforce needs into actionable recruiting strategies—particularly for specialized, hard-to-fill roles within the revenue cycle management and cancer registry space. The ideal candidate is technically minded, data-driven, creative in sourcing approaches, and constantly exploring new ways to attract top talent. Key Responsibilities Talent Strategy & Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, fostering accountability, innovation, and high performance Partner with senior leaders to understand business goals and proactively develop workforce and hiring strategies aligned to growth plans Serve as an advisor to leaders on market trends, hiring challenges, and talent availability within revenue cycle and cancer registry disciplines Recruiting Operations & Process Excellence Design, optimize, and scale recruiting processes that improve speed, quality of hire, and candidate experience Leverage technology, automation, and data to continuously enhance recruiting workflows and decision-making Ensure consistent, compliant, and best-in-class recruiting practices across all roles and functions Technical & Data-Driven Recruiting Own recruiting analytics and dashboards, tracking key metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, pipeline health, and recruiter productivity Use data to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and clearly communicate results and ROI to leadership Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and sourcing technologies Sourcing Innovation & Employer Branding Drive creative and non-traditional sourcing strategies, including social media, digital communities, referrals, and niche talent networks Partner with marketing and communications to strengthen employer brand and talent attraction strategies Stay current on recruiting best practices, AI, social media trends, and emerging talent platforms Specialized Talent Focus Develop targeted strategies for recruiting highly specialized roles in revenue cycle management and cancer registry (e.g., coders, eligibility specialists, auditors, abstractors, management) Build long-term pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles Qualifications Required Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting, with demonstrated responsibility for full-cycle recruiting and talent strategy Minimum 3+ years of people management experience, including direct management of recruiters or TA professionals Proven success leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, workforce planning, and talent market dynamics Experience partnering with senior leaders to articulate and execute hiring strategies aligned to business goals Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using recruiting analytics, dashboards, and metrics to track performance and outcomes Technically savvy, with experience leveraging ATS platforms, recruiting tools, and social media for sourcing and employer branding Comfortability with AI and using/exploring emerging technologies to improve talent acquisition delivery Preferred Experience recruiting in healthcare, revenue cycle management, cancer registry, or other highly specialized talent markets Experience leading recruiting transformation, process improvement, or scaling TA functions during periods of growth Familiarity with Workday ATS platform Key Competencies Strategic thinker with strong execution skills Curious, innovative, and always looking for better ways to attract talent Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where needed Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Collaborative leader who balances high accountability standards with approachability Note: Savista is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $115,00 to $140,000. However, specific compensation for the role will vary within the above range based on many factors including but not limited to geographic location, candidate experience, applicable certifications, and skills.
