6+ years professional .NET experience, 3+ years with .NET Core/.NET 6+, advanced C#, legacy modernization, RESTful API design, authentication (JWT, OIDC/OAuth2), SQL Server/PostgreSQL optimization, AWS deployment, Terraform, and accessibility standards compliance.
Role: Senior.NET Developer (1 Opening) Location: Los Angeles, CA (remote) Duration: 12 Months(possible extension) Project: Our environment includes. NET 8, Blazor/MudBlazor, TypeScript-based applications, API integrations, legacy modernization efforts, and WordPress-related work. We are looking for adaptable developers who are comfortable working across multiple platforms and technologies. Objective: The objective of this engagement is to provide technical services to support the modernization, enhancement, and ongoing development of Accessible Housing Program (ACHP) web-based systems. Specifically, the Contractor shall: • Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA and applicable • ADA/Section 508 requirements • Modernize legacy .NET applications to.NET 8 and current architectural standards • Implement scalable, maintainable, and secure application architecture patterns • Design and support cross-platform system integrations • Develop and enhance application features across frontend and backend layers • Improve authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation using industry standards • Enhance, maintain, and support WordPress-based websites and related integrations Minimum Qualifications (Requirements) • Minimum six (6) years of professional experience in.NET web application development • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience with NET Core / .NET 6+ • Advanced proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core • Demonstrated experience modernizing or refactoring legacy .NET applications to modern .NET architecture • Experience designing and implementing RESTful Client in production environments • Strong understanding of clean, layered, or domain-driven architectural patterns • Experience implementing authentication mechanisms including JWT and OIDC/OAuth2 • Experience designing and optimizing relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including query performance tuning and schema design. • Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS environments • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools, including Terraform • Experience working with AWS services including Elastic Container Service (ECS), Elastic Container Registry (ECR), and Relational Database Service (RDS) • Experience designing and developing applications in compliance with WAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards Responsibilities: • Lead technical modernization efforts from legacy NET systems to .NET 8 • Design integration strategies between applications • Guide authentication and SSO implementation strategy • Review and approve architectural designs and code contributions • Mentor junior and mid-level developers • Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies • Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards, security best practices, performance requirements, and maintainability guidelines. • Accessibility review, remediation, and validation of developed components
