Perform clerical and administrative tasks including answering calls, maintaining records, scheduling, and preparing meeting materials.
At least 3 years of administrative experience, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with billing are required.
Brief Description Due to growth Westway is adding an Administrative Assistant in Houston to facilitate the efficient operation by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks The Role You Will Play • Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary. • Maintain filing systems as assigned. • Retrieve information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepare written summaries of data when needed. • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions. • Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors. • Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings. • Record and distribute minutes or other records for meetings. • Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment. • Maintain a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash • Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills And Qualifications • Three (3+) years of experience in handling the duties listed above (or similar) • Experience working with a General Contractor preferred • Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). • Billing experience preferred We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
