Position Summary The Business Development Administrator provides crucial support to the Market Category and Business Development teams by executing a range of administrative responsibilities and ensuring company systems contain accurate, well-organized data. This role is responsible for upholding data integrity, optimizing workflows, and driving efficiency through diligent data management, regular audits, and thorough documentation. In addition, the position collaborates closely with leadership to update and maintain company catalogs and price sheets, guaranteeing sales teams receive precise and current information. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Manage and update product data in company systems, oversee assigned price books and line sheets, and assist in maintaining product catalogs. • Establish new product system codes and promptly enter or update accurate data, correcting errors to ensure data integrity across company systems. • Ensure data integrity by identifying and consolidating duplicate records, and thoroughly documenting all changes made during the cleanup process for future reference. • Conduct regular audits of existing information to identify and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies. • Organize and categorize data for easier access and improved usability during cleanup. • Adhere to all protocols, company and department procedures, and system operations while ensuring cleanup, sensitive information, and data retention practices are followed. • Collaborate with team members to achieve Market Category objectives and deadlines. • Assist in automating repetitive tasks to enhance system efficiency. • Report progress and any issues to the project supervisor or designated contact person. • Upload and organize documentation into system accurately and efficiently. • Perform administrative duties to ensure the support of the Market Category team. • Support the Market Category team in the onboarding of new suppliers. • Coordinate samples by shipping, tracking, and managing all product samples for review, testing, and product handovers, ensuring compliance. • Assist with the creation of detail sheets, tech packs, spec sheets, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and the creation of reports. • Support the Market Category and Business Development team with administrative tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education And Experience Requirements • Associates degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. • Minimum 2 years of experience in Administrative Support and Data Processing. • Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows Office environment is required (with strong emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and Word). • Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and expectations to ensure accuracy of product development • Understanding of supply chain management and product development processes. • Ability to support and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing market conditions. This position requires the ability to perform duties using both typical office equipment such as computers, cell phones, and printers as well as the ability to communicate and perform tasks in a manufacturing/workshop environment. Must be able to perform physical and mental tasks associated within multiple environments. Some travel required.
