Full Description

Sass and SEO is a digital strategy and systems company helping founders scale sustainably. We build businesses that run with clarity, automation, and structure. We’re hiring a Client Success & Operations Manager to manage client communications, oversee project pipelines, and keep our systems running smoothly. This role is for someone who has worked in digital marketing, SaaS, consulting, or online service-based businesses — not retail, hospitality, or general admin. This is a part-time role (15–20 hrs/week) with potential to grow. What You’ll Do • Act as the main point of contact for clients: schedule calls, send updates, and ensure clear communication. • Oversee project timelines and deliverables in ClickUp (or similar PM tools). • Translate high-level strategy into actionable tasks for the team and ensure deadlines are met. • Manage client onboarding, reporting, and success processes. • Collect client feedback, track KPIs, and proactively solve issues. • Collaborate with the founder to prioritize initiatives and keep projects moving. Required Skills & Experience We will only consider applicants who meet these requirements: • 2–5 years experience in client success, operations, or project management for a digital-first company (marketing agency, SaaS, or online service business required). • Hands-on experience with project management software (ClickUp preferred; Asana, Monday, or Trello acceptable). • Comfort with AI tools, automation platforms, and CRMs (Zapier, Go High Level, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar). • Advanced use of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail). • Ability to design, manage, and optimize project pipelines and workflows. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in client-facing settings. • Proven ability to manage multiple clients/projects at once. Applications without this background will not be reviewed. Bonus Skills • Past experience in a digital marketing or creative agency. • Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, or digital advertising. • Experience supporting founders/executives in fast-moving small businesses. Who You Are • Tech-forward: AI, automations, and software are part of your daily toolkit. • Proactive: You spot risks and handle them before they become problems. • Organized: You live by systems and deadlines, not chaos. • Client-centered: You know how to keep relationships smooth, warm, and professional. Compensation • $25–$35/hr DOE • 15–20 hours per week, U.S.-based, with overlap in California hours • Remote, flexible schedule • Our Culture We’re a small, focused team — no corporate red tape, but also no babysitting. If you get energy from creating order, solving problems, and making things run more smoothly, you’ll feel right at home here. • We value clarity, autonomy, and ownership. Everyone knows their lane and runs with it. • We thrive on structure and calm, not chaos. Systems > last-minute scrambling. • We’re tech-forward — AI, automations, and digital tools are part of how we work. • We believe in sustainable growth: clients get real results without burnout, and so do we. This Role Is Not For You If… • You’ve only worked in retail, hospitality, or general admin roles. • You’re intimidated by tech or automation tools. • You need constant step-by-step direction instead of taking initiative. • You prefer high-drama, last-minute environments over steady, structured workflows. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,400.00 per month Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week Application Question(s): • Give one example where you spotted a potential issue in a project before it became a problem. What did you do to address it? • Describe a time you managed client deliverables while coordinating with multiple team members. How did you keep everyone aligned and the client informed? • What automation or AI tools (Zapier, Go High Level, ActiveCampaign, ChatGPT, etc.) have you worked with? Share one example where you used a tool to save time or improve efficiency. • Tell us about a time you had to manage the day-to-day execution of a project. How did you keep tasks, deadlines, and communication on track? Work Location: Remote
