Full Description

Title: Administrative Assistant (12 month position) Reports To: Program Administrator Job Goal: The administrative assistant provides assistance to the Program Administrator in all aspects of implementing the program. Qualifications • High School Diploma. • Word and data processing experience helpful. • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to build and maintain processes and procedures for the department Duties And Responsibilities • Create and distribute program registration packets and generate class list for all students. • Assist in maintaining records and budgets for all classrooms as well as general program budget. • Administer all purchase orders for the program from inception to payment. • Oversee program accounts. • Maintain files of correspondence, report and student records. • Compile and report all student attendance to the student's home district on a monthly basis. • Create and keep up-to-date the program data bases for all STARS/Autism Program students and employees. • Set up all staffings for students in the program • Create school calendar for each classroom coordinating with district and SASED schedules. • Communicate with bus companies on all calendar deviations and/or changes. • Report employee absences for al Program employees to Central Office on a daily basis. • Coordinate emergency assistance whenever necessary. • Make and receive telephone calls relative to student and classroom issues. • Complete all correspondence and reports required by program administrator or certified staff after approval of administrator. • Assist in determining needed supplies and equipment for program office. • Attend and participate in program staff meetings. • Manage DHH and Vision ESY Program with program administrators Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Terms of Employment: 259 day work year at compensation set by the SASED Board of Control. Hourly rate: $17-20/hour 8 hour/day Candidate received sick time, personal time, emergency, and vacation days and is part of IMRF
