Our Business Development Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting both new and existing pharma relationships. In this position, you will coordinate the logistics for all face-to-face partner engagement occurring both in Nashville as well as those meetings taking place outside of our corporate offices. Additionally, you will provide administrative support for both Business Development Directors as well as departmental support. This position is based at our corporate HQ in Nashville, TN, and there is no relocation assistance or sponsorship available for this opportunity. Duties include and are not limited to: Client meeting coordination & support: • Must be available to attend and support all client meetings that take place in Nashville offices. • May be asked to travel and provide meeting support during critical conferences (i.e. ASCO). • Work closely with Business Development colleagues and across internal teams to provide seamless support for client meetings. • Coordinate & manage all logistics associated with client meetings including internal scheduling and onsite support. • May be asked to coordinate associated activities like dinner reservations and meeting meal orders. • Liaise with internal admin community to ensure appropriate stakeholder availability and participation. Administrative support: • Provide administrative support for 2 business development directors. • Always maintains strictest confidence, and in all situations. • Schedule & coordinate calendars, appointments, travel arrangements • Prepare expense reports. Utilizes SAP Concur to upload receipts and file expense reports; track and make corrections, if needed, until report is approved for reimbursement. • Maintains direct/open communication with higher level management, executives, Sarah Cannon colleagues, and outside contacts. • Ensures processes are followed, maintained, and follow up as needed to see projects to completion. Qualifications needed for success in this role include: • Bachelor's Degree • Minimum 3 years' work experience preferably with some project management duties in an administrative assistant or executive assistant role • Foundational knowledge of clinical trial landscape • Experience with calendaring, scheduling, coordinating travel arrangements, managing expense reports • Ability to work in a highly detailed, fast-paced, and highly matrixed environment is required • Experience with Salesforce and Concur are highly desired About Sarah Cannon Research Institute Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the world’s leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials.
