Looking to take on a high-impact engineering role at a major global market operator? This team is modernizing a real-time platforms across data, trading, and exchange connectivity that power critical decision-making across options and equities markets. They’re searching for a Principal Software Engineer with deep C#/.NET expertise to lead the re-architecture of their core risk engine, building scalable, high-performance back-end systems that process live market data, reference data, and position updates. You will also need to have strong front-end expertise in either WPF or React as this is truly a full stack role. You will optimize the current system while driving the transition to a new, more flexible architecture, work closely with front-end teams to support modern web-based applications, and help deploy containerized services in Kubernetes. This will require extensive experience with C# on financial systems and an aptitude for modern frameworks in this space so that you can assist in making legacy systems modernized. You should bring extensive experience with real-time systems, C# and WPF or React coding in a financial industry, and a willingness to learn and collaborate. You’ll work across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams while mentoring others and guiding best practices.
