This is your shot to build a security function from the ground up, at a PE-backed firm that is ready to invest. You are stepping into a greenfield environment. No inherited mess, no patched-together legacy decisions you have to live with. You are building this from scratch, and that means your fingerprints are on everything from day one. You lead a team of four and own the full security picture. Threat intelligence, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, security engineering. It all sits with you. You are not inheriting someone else's vision here, you are creating it. The company is PE-backed and in a serious growth phase. That means budget, momentum, and real appetite to do this right. You are also stepping into a firm that is actively leaning into AI initiatives, which means your work is going to matter at the strategic level, not just the operational one. On the technical side, you are living in the Microsoft ecosystem. Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Defender are core to how you operate. If you have Crowdstrike experience on top of that, even better. This is fully remote, so you have the flexibility to lead on your terms while making a genuine impact on a company that is scaling fast. You bring director level experience in information security. You know how to lead a team, hold a strategic conversation, and still understand what is happening at the technical level. No up-to-date CV required.
