About the Client Our client, a global leader in network performance and visibility software, is seeking a driven and high-energy Account Manager to join their growing U.S. sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to sell Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions to enterprise customers, including accounts within the Fortune 5000. Note: Sponsorship, relocation, and interview expenses are not covered. Position Overview The Account Manager will be responsible for developing new business and expanding existing enterprise accounts within the Chicago territory. This role is ideal for a hunter-type salesperson with strong business acumen, a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, and a passion for selling complex, high-value software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Prospect, develop, and close new enterprise accounts (net new logos) • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers • Drive consultative, solution-based sales of NPM, APM, and network observability software • Collaborate with channel partners and leverage the broader ecosystem for business growth • Achieve and exceed sales targets through a mix of hunting and strategic account management Qualifications • 6+ years of enterprise field sales experience selling complex software solutions • Proven track record in selling networking, infrastructure management, service monitoring, or security solutions • Strong understanding of network visibility, NPM, and APM tools • Experience selling to Fortune 5000 enterprise customers • Bachelor’s degree (BS) required • Demonstrated ability to manage full sales cycles — from prospecting to close • Hunter mentality: self-driven, energetic, and persistent • Existing network and relationships within the Chicago enterprise market are a strong plus Ideal Candidate Profile • Started career as a BDR/Inside Sales and progressed into Field Sales • Excels in building relationships and driving net-new business • Possesses grit, determination, and strong communication skills • Seeks long-term career growth in a global, stable, and high-performing organization Why Join • Join one of the top global software product companies • Excellent career advancement and earning potential • Never had a layoff — strong company stability • Supportive, growth-focused environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: Remote
