Custodian/Janitor We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team and help maintain our facility’s cleanliness and appearance. MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Keep facilities clean, organized, and ready for the next day • Empty trash bins, tidy work area, and wipe down surfaces • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors • Clean and sanitize restrooms daily (toilets, sinks, floors, etc.) • Perform outdoor maintenance tasks (watering plants, mowing lawn, sweeping entryways, cleaning doors) • Conduct basic maintenance or minor repairs (changing lightbulbs, fixing handles, etc.) • Report major damages to management and assist with repair coordination if needed • Perform occasional seasonal or special tasks (e.g., power washing sidewalks) • Follow company policies and safety procedures • As part of your role, you may be required to perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or the company. Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities are essential expectations for every role. QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous experience as a janitor, custodian, or similar role preferred • Comfortable performing light landscaping and basic maintenance tasks • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift • Good attention to detail and time management skills • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends • Team-oriented and reliable WHY WORK WITH US: • Competitive hourly pay • Opportunities for advancement • Eligible for health, dental, & vision insurance (In addition to supplemental policies, life insurance, STD/LTD after 60 days of employment) • Eligible to participate in Sanwa Food Group 401K investment policy after 6 months of employment (Sanwa matches up to 6%) • Eligible for holiday pay after 90 days of employment • Eligible for 2 weeks of PTO after the completion of 1 year of employment • Supportive team environment
