The Difference You Make: We are seeking a highly skilled AI Developer with expertise in building conversational AI solutions, including chatbots, voice bots, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, that integrate seamlessly with contact center platforms and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AI application development within the financial or banking industry, as well as a working knowledge of model risk governance, architecture review, and risk assessment processes. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical development and the ability to navigate regulatory, compliance, and governance frameworks within a financial institution. Design and Develop Conversational AI Solutions: Build, deploy, and maintain chatbot and voice bot flows using NLP/NLU frameworks and conversational AI platforms. Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Applications: Design and implement RAG solutions to improve knowledge-grounded AI responses by integrating vector databases, embedding models, and external knowledge sources. Integration with Enterprise & Contact Center Platforms: Connect conversational systems to Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform, CRM systems, APIs, and other enterprise applications. AI Governance and Risk Management: Ensure AI models and applications comply with model risk management policies (e.g., SR 11-7, OCC/ECB guidelines). Participate in internal reviews, model validations, and risk assessments. Architecture and Design Reviews: Work with enterprise architecture teams to ensure AI solutions align with security, scalability, and compliance standards. Continuous Improvement: Monitor bot and RAG system performance, conduct error analysis, and refine conversational and retrieval pipelines to improve user experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, compliance, architecture, and risk teams to ensure AI solutions meet both business needs and regulatory standards. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent field. - Preferred Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML development with NLP/NLU frameworks (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, OpenAI, AWS Lex). Proven experience building and integrating chatbots, voice bots, and RAG-based applications. Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS) and embedding models for retrieval pipelines. Understanding of Model Risk Governance frameworks, AI/ML model validation, and compliance practices. Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and participation in architecture/design review processes. Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong knowledge of security and compliance requirements in financial services. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#. Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhook integrations, and RAG pipelines. Familiarity with speech recognition and voice AI technologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
