With a 100-year vision, our mission is to democratize ownership of history, making it accessible to the masses and protected by us, the philosopher-builders fostering a shared world. ======== Position Overview Sankhara is hiring a Senior Managing Director, Capital Formation - a world-class relationship-builder, storyteller, and closer who will lead fundraising for the Sankhara Fund. This is a role for someone who has a proven track record in raising meaningful capital. Someone comfortable in family office and ultra-high-net-worth environments, who understands that capital decisions at this level are about belief, credibility, alignment, and excellence. You will be primarily responsible for driving capital into the Fund. You will build and nurture a high-quality pipeline of family offices, UHNW investors, strategic partners, and select institutions. You will help shape and refine the Sankhara capital story alongside leadership, and you will be accountable for ensuring that interest turns into investment. You will be expected to open doors, build long-term relationships, and deliver meaningful results. If you want to play a meaningful role in building a fund that preserves human history, while delivering serious performance, this is that opportunity. ======== Key Responsibilities Capital Formation and Fundraising Leadership • Own the capital formation strategy and execution for the Sankhara Fund. • Raise capital from family offices, UHNW investors, strategic capital partners, and select institutions. • Develop and manage a robust pipeline appropriate for a rolling-close, perpetual-term fund structure. • Build and deepen trusted relationships with sophisticated capital allocators. • Ensure Sankhara shows up professionally, credibly, and compellingly in every capital conversation. ======== Qualifications • Proven experience raising capital in private equity, venture capital, alternatives, or related private markets environments. • Successful track record engaging and securing commitments from family offices and UHNW investors. • Experience fundraising for an emerging manager or newer fund platform. • Existing credibility and relationships in the FO / UHNW ecosystem. • Confidence, presence, integrity, and polish - without ego.
