Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of healthcare and financial data to support program management within the physician and advanced practice provider compensation department. Job Description Responsible for appropriate planning, communication, reporting and implementation of changes that pertain to physician incentives and additional pay programs, pricing and compensation methodologies. Responsible for the coordination, documentation, communication and analysis of provider productivity, compensation and benefits. Summarize provider revenues and work relative value units (WRVUs). Gather data for payroll processing and benefit day tracking. Describes the concepts behind compensation analysis and implications of data. Assist in the overall preparation and design of monthly compensation process, budget, and survey and market analysis through data gathering, entry and validation. Assists with financial reporting for physicians, advanced practice providers, as well as executive leadership. Works with appropriate personnel to ensure accurate presentation of financial data. Prepares statistical reports. Accommodates appropriate requests for financial data. Maintains financial records and documentation. Duties will also include reviewing and validation of time cards, payroll documentation, and obtaining and maintaining required approvals as appropriate. Maintain applicable tracking systems on productivity for providers, as well as troubleshoot and modify any compensation plans as needed, ensuring all components are accurate and appropriate. Documents government regulations and internal policies related to compensation. Demonstrates strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and ability to apply these appropriately to business transactions, planning, and packaging of compensation and benefits. Knowledge of and ability to apply appropriate processes, tools, and techniques for assuring a high level of quality in computer software products and systems associated with compensation programs related to physicians, advanced practice providers, and executive leadership within designated markets. Excel at demonstrating written and oral communication skills at a professional level with the ability to adjust communication techniques and delivery based on audience and understanding, without hesitation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Prefer in an accounting, finance, or a healthcare administration field. Will consider accepting, if no Bachelor’s degree, at least six years equivalent work experience. Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards required.
