Job Title: Senior Project Manager Department: PMO Reports to: VP of PMO Classification: Exempt Location: Flexible Travel: Required GWS is the North American leader in the design and manufacturing of custom cutting tools. Job Summary: Leads cross-functional operational and commercial projects that improve business performance, customer value, and growth. Provides project structure, stakeholder alignment, change leadership, and measurable results. Duties/Responsibilities: • Lead strategic operational, commercial, and digital initiatives. • Define project scope, objectives, business cases, plans, budgets, and success measures. • Manage milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions. • Lead project governance, steering committees, executive updates, and escalations. • Coordinate teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and IT. • Deliver operational projects such as manufacturing improvement, S&OP, supply chain optimization, inventory reduction, automation, and process standardization. • Deliver commercial projects such as CRM, customer experience, quote-to-order, pricing, sales effectiveness, forecasting, and go-to-market improvements. • Connect ERP, CRM, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives to business outcomes. • Lead change management, communication, readiness, training coordination, and adoption. • Track schedule, budget, benefits, productivity, service, customer, revenue, and adoption measures. • Apply PMO standards, support fact-based decisions, and capture lessons learned. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree required. • Seven or more years of project or program management experience. • Experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives. • Operations or Commercial management experience preferred. • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or change management certification preferred. Required Skills/Abilities: • Project planning, governance, risk management, financial tracking, and benefits realization. • Cross-functional leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management. • Ability to convert strategy and business needs into clear plans and measurable outcomes. • Operational and commercial business acumen. • Strong prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills. • Working knowledge of project management, ERP, CRM, analytics, and collaboration tools. Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit for extended periods. • Ability to travel by vehicle or air based on business needs. • Light work, including moving objects up to 20 pounds.
