Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Remote Reservation Sales Agent to join our team. Our properties are known for their exceptional service and unforgettable experiences, and we need someone who can match our guests' enthusiasm for adventure and relaxation. This position offers the unique opportunity to be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every guest interaction is an opportunity to excel. While this is a remote role, you MUST live within commuting distance and be able to be onsite for periodic training. Responsibilities: * Communication Excellence: Handle incoming calls and emails with a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm. Your voice and tone will set the stage for our guests' experiences. * Reservation Management: Efficiently book guest reservations for overnight stays, utilizing our reservation system to ensure a seamless process. Your attention to detail and persuasive selling techniques will turn inquiries into confirmed bookings. * Guest Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with guests for potential second chance bookings, showcasing persistence and a keenness to ensure every guest has the opportunity to experience our offerings. * Multitasking Skills: Demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize multiple phone calls and tasks without compromising service quality. * Knowledge Expert: Become an expert on all things related to our resorts, including amenities and the local area, to confidently share information and sell our offerings. * Sales Skills: Apply proven sales techniques to suggest and secure bookings, enhancing guest experiences and meeting sales targets. * Personalized Service: Maintain up-to-date records of guest preferences to tailor recommendations and services, ensuring a personalized touch in every interaction. * Customer Service: Commit to delivering the highest standard of customer service, making every guest feel valued and excited for their visit. Requirements: **While this position is remote, you must live within commuting distance and be available to go into the Resort for meetings and training on occasion. * High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade guests. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the capability to learn and navigate reservation systems efficiently. * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. * Physical ability to remain seated for extended periods, as well as to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and stretching. Physical requirements: * Comfortable with being seated for the majority of the day but ready to move when needed. * Flexibility to stretch, bend, and move about to fulfill your tasks. * A well-tuned ability to handle multiple tasks without missing a beat.
