Sanchez Auto is a small automotive shop that is growing and looking to add an Automotive Service Technician to our team. Job Responsibility/Duties: • Perform work in an efficient and accurate manner. • Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined on vehicles and identify potential troublesome areas. • Communicate with service writer to understand the customer’s needs and to discuss necessary work to be performed. • Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. • Repair malfunctions and damages as needed. • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services. • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications. • Document work performed. • Test drive vehicles to ensure quality of work performed. • Maintain a clean work environment. Mechanic Requirements: • Great attitude. • Outstanding customer service. • Professional appearance. • Strong time management. • Team player. • Attention to detail. • Ability to learn and grow • Self-motivated. Experience and skill requirements: • High School diploma required. • Good communication skills required. • Ability to work 40 hours a week. • Punctual attendance. • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. • Ability to work with your hands and arms on a regular basis. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. All positions require a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay varies based on experience.
