Role Overview: As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting the airport's digital infrastructure from cyber threats. You will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures that safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement advanced cybersecurity strategies to protect airport systems and networks. - You will conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks. - You will lead incident response efforts, investigating and resolving security breaches promptly. - You will collaborate with IT teams and external partners to enhance security protocols and infrastructure. - You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry cybersecurity regulations. - You will mentor junior cybersecurity staff and provide training to raise security awareness across the organization. - You will stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies to proactively defend against attacks. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field. - Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies. - Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. - Proficiency in incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are required. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the aviation or transportation industry. - Familiarity with cloud security and securing hybrid environments. - Hands-on experience with security automation and orchestration tools. - Advanced degrees in cybersecurity, computer science, or related disciplines.
