Role Overview: As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting the airport's digital infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures that safeguard sensitive data and ensure operational continuity. This role requires a proactive mindset and a commitment to staying ahead of emerging cybersecurity trends. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement advanced cybersecurity strategies to protect airport systems and networks. - You will conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks. - You will lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches. - You will collaborate with IT teams and external partners to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. - You will design and deliver cybersecurity training programs to enhance organizational awareness. - You will monitor security alerts and analyze threat intelligence to proactively defend against attacks. - You will contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. - You will mentor junior cybersecurity staff and foster a culture of security excellence. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field. - Strong expertise in network security, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection. - Proficiency with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. - Experience with cloud security technologies and securing hybrid environments. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are required. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the transportation or aviation industry. - Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to airports and critical infrastructure. - Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and advanced threat hunting techniques. - Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and security orchestration.
