Role Overview As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting the airport's digital infrastructure. You will lead efforts to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to cyber threats, ensuring the safety and integrity of our systems. What You'll Do - You will design, implement, and maintain advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect critical airport systems. - You will conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. - You will monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential threats promptly. - You will collaborate with IT and operational teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures. - You will lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches. - You will stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance our defense strategies. - You will provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices. - You will document security incidents and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory compliance. What You Bring - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field. - Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies. - Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are required. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus Points If You Have - Experience in the aviation or transportation industry. - Familiarity with cloud security and virtualization technologies. - Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to airports and transportation security. - Advanced certifications like OSCP or GIAC.
