Role Overview: As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting the airport's digital infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures that safeguard sensitive data and ensure operational continuity. What You'll Do: - You will develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures tailored to the airport's unique environment. - You will conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats. - You will design and implement security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols. - You will monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively. - You will collaborate with IT teams and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - You will lead cybersecurity training and awareness programs for staff across the organization. - You will stay current with emerging threats and technologies to continuously enhance security posture. - You will participate in incident response planning and disaster recovery exercises. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field. - Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and firewall technologies. - Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. - Proficiency in incident response and vulnerability management. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are required. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the transportation or aviation industry. - Familiarity with cloud security and virtualization technologies. - Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and advanced threat detection. - Background in regulatory compliance specific to government or airport operations.
