Role Overview: As the Manager of Capital Budget & Grants, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial planning and management of capital projects and grant funding. Your expertise will ensure that resources are allocated effectively to support the airport's growth and infrastructure development. What You'll Do: - You will develop and manage the capital budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements. - You will oversee the administration and compliance of federal, state, and local grants. - You will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to monitor project budgets and expenditures. - You will prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior leadership. - You will lead grant application processes and maintain relationships with funding agencies. - You will ensure adherence to financial policies and audit requirements. - You will identify opportunities for process improvements in budget and grant management. - You will mentor and guide junior staff in financial and grant management practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital budgeting, financial management, or grant administration. - Strong knowledge of federal and state grant regulations and compliance standards. - Proficiency in financial software and budgeting tools. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. - Experience working in a public sector or transportation-related environment is preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification. - Experience with airport operations or infrastructure projects. - Advanced skills in data analysis and financial modeling. - Familiarity with grant management software and ERP systems.
