Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Samuel, Son & Co. Ltd. is a long-standing company in the metals industry, dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to analyze market trends, create sales strategies, and develop strong customer relationships to drive business growth. Responsibilities • Analyzing data and market trends. • Being the Voice of the Customer within SPVG. • Creating a sales strategy to drive business growth. • Developing and managing team members. • Establishing strong relationships with existing customers. • Forecasting orders/sales monthly. • Works with marketing, estimating, and customer care, and will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy to increase business growth. Skills • Minimum two-year technical degree and/or 3 to 5 years of related job experience. • Ability to work will in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations. • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures. • Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job. • Must be able to read blueprints. • Verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to effectively work with internal and external customers in a team environment. • Corporate computer systems. • Microsoft Applications • Knowledge of basic Mechanical Engineering concepts are desired. • Knowledge of the ASME Code, and ability to use ASME related software is a plus. • Work experience in related industry is an asset but even if you do not have this, we still want you to apply.
