People | Excellence | Change | Integrity | Co-prosperity Role and Responsibilities Position Overview The Business Planning team owns cross-category forecasting and performance tracking, enabling data-driven financial decisions for MX Sales Accounts TP/MP and SD planning. The Sr. Specialist, Business Planning will work closely with Product Management, Finance, Sales Accounts, SEA leadership and Suwon Regional PM teams. This position will report directly to the Director of Business Planning. Role and Responsibilities Manage business planning (TP/MP) by communicating with multiple organization Responsible for developing, negotiating, coordinating, and communicating business plans Functions as the focal point to improve communications between headquarters and corresponding SEA team members Coordinates and handles the escalation of critical sales demands with business leadership Manage and develop business planning personnel Manages within a nominated sub-function or related sub-functions; typically, a highly experienced manager May manage Production Sales Inventory (PSI) to ensure development and availability to achieve business plans May Conduct Production Sales Inventory (PSI) meetings to identify sales target status and product requirements to ensure fulfillment and delivery to achieve sales plans Provides strategic direction for the business planning function Simulate profitability based on strategic business planning Accountable for medium to long-term strategic planning Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Operations, Finance, or Statistics from an accredited college or university and 4+ years of related experience in sales, supply chain management or financial forecasting (revenue/investment/profit) Telecommunications, Carrier, or Mobile industry experience required Experience developing and leading growth initiatives in a carrier environment including promotional planning, ROI analysis, and new product introductions Must be able to write, read, analyze and interpret technical product and marketing materials Ability to complete competitive analysis and ROI management of key growth initiatives Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required Extensive use of Windows presentation software to develop customer and internal presentations Fluency in Korean and English, written and oral is required Life @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/ Benefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/ Regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 6 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.
