Job Summary   Salute is seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Senior FP&A Analyst to drive efficiency and accuracy across our financial reporting and planning processes. This role is ideal for a finance professional with exceptional Excel skills and a strong command of financial analysis, who is motivated to streamline reporting workflows and reduce reliance on manual models. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of delivering insightful variance analysis to support data-driven decision-making.  Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Reporting   * Analyze monthly financial results, investigate variances, and deliver clear, concise reporting to stakeholders.  * Support the month-end close process by ensuring timely updates to financial models and schedules.  Forecasting & Budgeting   * Support the annual budget and periodic forecast cycles by consolidating inputs, updating models, and validating assumptions.  * Enhance current Excel-based forecast tools for accuracy and efficiency, reducing manual processes.  * Work closely with business partners to ensure forecasts reflect current trends, risks, and opportunities.  * Support scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis for key financial drivers.  Operational & Financial Analysis   * Prepare ad-hoc analyses to evaluate business performance, cost structure, and investment opportunities.  * Identify trends and provide actionable insights to help drive profitability and strategic decisions.  * Conduct margin and expense analysis by project, region, or function as needed.  * Monitor KPIs and financial metrics, recommending process improvements or areas for deeper review.   Process Improvement & Systems Optimization   * Lead initiatives to streamline reporting processes, automate repetitive tasks, and standardize outputs. * Transition legacy models and reports to leaner, more efficient formats with robust controls and transparency. * Serve as a subject matter expert in Excel—designing scalable models and ensuring data integrity.  * Collaborate with other teams to explore reporting capabilities within Sage (ERP) and other tools.   Qualifications & Skills Required   * Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis roles. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. * Skills: * Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, dynamic dashboards, and complex formulas.  * Strong financial modeling and data interpretation capabilities. Proven ability to analyze variances, identify key trends, and communicate findings clearly. * Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.  * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.  Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.  * Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus but not required.  * Understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.  * Working hours in Eastern Standard Time
