YOU WILL BE: The Senior Manager, Client Development is a pivotal leader responsible for shaping and executing Saks Global’s top customer strategy within their assigned region. Serving as the key liaison between central strategy and local execution, this role ensures that high-value clients receive best-in-class experiences that reflect Saks’s position as a leading global luxury retailer. As the regional leader on the Top Customer Team, the Senior Manager plays a critical role in retaining and growing Saks Global’s most valuable clients, driving deeper loyalty, and maximizing long-term value. This individual partners closely with store leadership, personal stylists, and associates to translate data-driven insights into meaningful client strategies and activations. Through exceptional collaboration and execution, they deliver exclusive, personalized, and memorable experiences that strengthen relationships, increase client lifetime value, and drive incremental sales growth. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Client Development Review, analyze, and interpret top customer data and opportunity lists to identify key growth areas. Design and implement strategies that elevate relationships with high-value clients, ensuring meaningful engagement and measurable retention. Serve as the regional leader and liaison in executing Saks’s global top customer strategy and experiences. Store Collaboration Partner with store leadership, personal stylists, and associates to activate strategies that align with local client needs. Champion clienteling best practices and ensure the region’s top clients are consistently prioritized. Activation Support Collaborate with store and corporate teams to plan and execute exclusive activations, events, and experiences for top clients. Ensure targeted client attendance and robust follow-up to maximize the impact of each engagement. Strategic Implementation Translate central client development strategies into tailored regional execution plans, adapting as needed for each store and market. Act as the regional subject-matter expert and point of contact for all top customer-related initiatives. Communication & Reporting Represent the voice of the region in cross-functional forums, sharing feedback, insights, and best practices. Deliver regular performance updates to leadership, highlighting retention, engagement, and growth results. Performance Monitoring Track and analyze KPIs related to client spend, engagement, and retention. Share insights and recommend action plans to accelerate performance and exceed regional goals.
