Saks Global Properties & Investments includes Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus flagship properties and represents nearly 13 million square feet of prime U.S. real estate holdings and investments in luxury markets. YOU WILL BE: You will work across Saks Global, a combination of world-class luxury retailers, including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Saks OFF 5TH. You are a results-driven professional who loves data and excels in analyzing data to answer business questions. Your attention to detail with a general desire to learn and grow, will be key to your success in this role. You will support energy efficiency and cost optimization initiatives in addition to utility forecasting and risk management through data management. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Support Saks Global’s strategic energy management vision, aligning cost, operational targets, and sustainability initiatives across the enterprise Manage energy data integration from different business entities/systems and support any energy & utilities related system transformation. Review and investigate year-over-year variances and anomalous energy data. Support the energy procurement program for electricity, natural gas, and other utilities - through data analytics and insights Support utility forecasting and budgeting processes by leading data collection, trends analysis and preparing month-end financial reporting. Partner closely with Facilities, Store Ops, Real Estate, Legal and Finance to support benchmarking and compliance reporting. Support the Stewardship team in developing & maintaining Saks Global’s GHG Emissions Inventory(Scope 1 and 2) Develop performance reporting on key energy program metrics, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior leadership Develop process documentation and training materials for the Energy and Operational Stewardship Team.\ Evaluate Utility Rates, Usage and cost data to help identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic energy program decisions. Maintain a centralized database to track energy projects, including timelines, status updates, and estimated savings. WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Data Science, Finance, Sustainability, or a related field 2+ years of progressive experience in energy management, utilities, finance, sustainability or related field. Includes co-op or internships.
