Full Description

Seasoned Program Manager with 10+ years of experience driving Reinsurance transformation initiatives. Proven expertise in Ceded Reinsurance programs, system implementations (SICS or similar), and target operating model design. Skilled in program governance, KPI/OKR tracking, vendor and stakeholder management, and cross-border team leadership. Adept at managing budgets, risks, and change management initiatives aligned with PMO standards. Strong understanding of insurance operations, underwriting, claims, finance, and compliance workflows. Responsibilities • Own and manage the critical paths of the Ceded Reinsurance programme and work with the Transformation Office to make sure status, dependencies, and priorities are clear to senior leadership across the SiriusPoint transformation portfolio. This includes, o Developing and managing programme timelines and milestones, and governance structures (e.g., RACI) o Delivering programme governance alongside monitoring of KPIs and OKRs o Identifying and mitigating programme risks; ensuring deliverables meet quality and compliance standards o Managing scope changes through structured approval processes; updating and maintaining documentation o Coordinating communication between external contractors, internal SMEs, and leadership; scheduling regular updates · Support key focus areas in, o Defining the target operating model; standardizing the end-to end process, defining the target technical accounting process and future automation, and defining the target team structure and upskilling team members involved in the workflow o Implementing a new Ceded Reinsurance system; refining requirements and selecting a vendor based on a detailed RfP process o Continuing ongoing SICS system enhancements from H1 2025, baselining and documenting SICS business rules · Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and vendors – utilize prior experience of IT implementation projects when working with internal SMEs & external partners · Define and manage accountabilities within the supplier ecosystem, oversee relationships, ensure compliance, and optimize performance · Manage resources and budget o Monitor resource allocation and utilization/burn rates o Report on existing resource utilization and current spending across the programme o Manage forecast, future resource capacity o Manage forecast, future budget and spending · Shape and drive selected business change, communication and engagement activities with key internal stakeholders · Ensure adherence to programme and change management policy and methodologies, as per PMO guidelines · Ensure successful closure of the projects and handover to Business As Usual (BAU), including but not limited to training, user onboarding, support transition and ongoing license management · The candidate should have 10+ years’ experience in programme management and experience of programme management in the insurance sector.
