Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Summary: The Clinical Data Analyst analyzes and interprets data related to patient feedback, satisfaction surveys, and other relevant sources. This role extracts actionable insights that inform strategic decisions aimed at optimizing patient care and satisfaction. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Health Information Management, Information Systems, or other closely related field Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience in data analytics. Experience within a healthcare environment, preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to patient experience. Effective interpersonal written and oral communication skills. Proficiency using computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to effectively deliver presentations to varying levels of staff and leadership. Ability to organize and prioritize work utilizing strong analytical and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Creates, maintains, monitors, and analyzes clinical and patient experience data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform clinical, operational, and patient experience improvements. Interprets complex data sets and provides recommendations for areas of improvement in patient care and experience. Monitors and evaluates the impact of patient experience initiatives and interventions, tracking key performance indicators and outcomes over time. Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, including graphs and charts to track patient care and patient experience metrics. Creates presentations to summarize data findings and presents to clinical staff and executive leadership. Collaborates with external vendors to onboard, curate, and utilize optimized data ensuring accuracy and relevance to the organization’s goals. Automates data input processes to streamline the creation and ongoing maintenance of graphs, charts, and other visual data representations. Creates and maintains periodic reporting ensuring that reports are accurate, timely, and relevant for leadership decision making. Works closely with the clinical and operational teams in clinical workflow to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that contribute to enhancing the patient experience. Decision Making: Independent judgement in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
