Responsibilities • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. • Perform procedures such as dermabrasion, suturing. • Provide patient education on health management. • Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure proper coding for billing purposes. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching urgent care environment to enhance patient care. • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical practices. Skills • Proficiency in dermabrasion techniques and other minor surgical procedures. • Experience working in a medical office setting with familiarity in discharge planning processes. • Knowledge of eClinicalWorks software for efficient patient record management. • Understanding of coding practices relevant to healthcare billing. • Ability to work effectively within a teaching urgent care environment, promoting learning among peers. • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
