Job Description: SailPoint is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to drive some of our most complex, business-critical initiatives for our Product organization. We are looking for a technical, program manager who has experience driving large organization wide initiatives. This individual is passionate about cultivating relationships and has experience influencing across organizational boundaries. You will manage a program from beginning to end to ensure we’re executing successfully and delivering amazing results. Responsibilities: Build strong, trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Research, and Executive Leadership. Provide thought leadership and a continuous improvement mindset to methodically work through problems/challenges. Manage and track program execution across multiple development teams to ensure successful, high-quality, on-time delivery. Identify and understand bottlenecks in the system and ruthlessly open them up including making and communicating tradeoffs. Anticipate, recognize, and work through risks, resistance or setbacks which impact program execution. Proactively communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Translate technical detail into clear and concise messaging for varied audiences. Use technical judgement to drive strategic alignment & product delivery. Develop program plans & schedules covering all phases of the program lifecycle. Foster cross-team collaboration and ensure scalable, high-quality solutions. Requirements: 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience driving large programs and delivering excellent results - 3 of which must be in software product development (SaaS, Web App, etc.). Ability to build frameworks to track and execute program direction. Highly evolved EQ and ability to adapt to the needs of the program and current maturity of the teams. Technical experience and knowledge of developing SaaS products - grounded in modern web technologies and agile processes. Passion for building partnerships and experience leveraging those to achieve success. Relentless passion and persistence and a focus on meeting commitments. Self-driven and highly motivated work ethic. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Exposure to product development in both large and small companies. (bonus points!) Experience with Identity Management, Security or Governance. What success looks like in this role: Within 30 days you will..... Onboard into your new role, get familiar with our product offering and technology, proactively meet peers and stakeholders, get to know the current roadmap, and attend team meetings of both Engineering Operations and Engineering Team. By 90 days Facilitate scrum of scrum meetings with engineering team. Lead stakeholder communications on roadmap execution. Partner with dependent engineering teams for cross team collaboration in order to execute on large roadmap programs. By 6 months Be responsible for leading dependency meetings for upcoming quarterly roadmap commitments. Partner with product and engineering managers to create planning practices and roadmap communications. Lead cross functional initiatives. Proactively help improve operational methodologies within the organization to increase efficiency and work with other TPM resources to form best practices. By 1 year Have a deep understanding of organizational structure and product ownership. Anticipate team needs and be able to provide impactful guidance and leadership. Understand overall program structure and department vision. Own the communication path to Engineering senior leadership for team specific updates. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $118,300 - $169,000 - $219,700 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
