Full Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team of professionals providing technical and program services to the Air Force, Space and Intelligence (AFSI) Business Group. This individual will provide technical briefings, presentations, technical program description booklets, annual reports, point papers, Director’s notes, announcements, technical displays, and communications strategies for an IC research and development (R&D) customer. The customer is developing next generation hardware, software, and architectural solutions for the Intelligence Community (IC). The primary functions of the candidate will include, but are not limited to: Develop technical documents and briefings on a wide variety of advanced programs; audiences include congressional members and their staffers, senior IC and DoD representatives, and leaders of other government agencies. Provide physical technology demonstrations for the above visitors as required Administer biannual Program Status Reviews (PSRs); efforts include soliciting topics, administer dry runs, assist with actual PSR, and maintain and respond to action items from Corporate Secretariat Serve as customer’s technical outreach and coordinate with the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs as required, to publicize news and events Assist with documents, briefings, and other materials for annual Technology Forum, the customer’s industry R&D outreach program Prepare technical R&D content for Congressional Staffer Days Coordinate content and production of R&D multi-media materials as part of the customer’s strategic outreach to their customers and the broader IC Assist with logistics and other requirements for government agencies briefing the customer Represent the customer on the Communications Forum Bachelor's degree and 14 years or more experience; 12 years or more with Masters Current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; ability to obtain RSV Experience with NRO program management, technology, science, engineering, and documentation Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
