This position is being posted as a partnership between Sago and Sago Health, a Health Insights/Med Learning Group Company. The selected employee will be employed by Sago under the direction of Sago Health for the remainder of 2025 and fully moving to a Med Learning Group employee on January 1, 2026. POSITION SUMMARY: A Sago Health Project Manager serves as the bridge between internal teams, partners, and clients. This role combines strong organizational skills, client relationship management, and a deep understanding of qualitative market research operations. Project Managers own the full lifecycle of multiple projects ensuring seamless execution, clear communication, and an exceptional client experience. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage 12–15 qualitative research projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Brief recruiting teams on project details to ensure client needs and deliverables are clearly understood and consistently met. Proactively communicate with clients and internal partners, providing transparency, guidance, and a sense of partnership throughout the project lifecycle. Provide clients with accurate, real-time participant and quota tracking, delivering updates that instill confidence and demonstrate steady progress. Monitor project elements to identify risks or roadblocks, adapting plans and driving quick, effective resolutions. Manage and track project budgets, timelines, and milestones to maintain operational and financial accuracy. Work autonomously and resourcefully to develop creative solutions when faced with incomplete information or evolving requirements. Adapt fluidly as project scopes change, demonstrating agility and a problem-solving mindset. Liaise between internal and external teams to ensure timely, detailed, and effective communication at every stage. Demonstrate a strong understanding of project cost, feasibility, and margin when making recommendations or adjustments. Stay informed of healthcare client research requirements, including adverse event protocols, and ensure compliance; proactively incorporate client specific requirements into project planning and execution. CORE COMPETENCIES: 1–5 years of well-rounded qualitative project management experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex details into clear, actionable client updates. Strong client focus and commitment to building trust and long-term partnerships. Team-first mentality and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams and functions. Self-motivated, energetic, disciplined, and quick to learn new systems and processes. Comfortable analyzing recruiting and project data to tell a clear story and communicate progress effectively to clients. Adapts quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining professionalism and composure. Exercises sound judgment in identifying risks and escalating when appropriate. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: 2+ years of experience working in a market research environment or combined project management experience preferred.
