Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Broker Agent at Safeway Shipping Solutions LLC. The Broker Agent will be responsible for coordinating freight shipments, negotiating with carriers, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and managing logistics from pickup to delivery. Additional responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and handling inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Qualifications • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and carriers • Knowledge of logistics, freight management, and shipping operations • Experience with CRM tools, scheduling systems, or other relevant software • Effective problem-solving, time-management, and organizational abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment • Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation is a must.
