Safety Facility Services is in search of a friendly and professional security guards to manage all client services for our commercial and residential properties in the New York area. We’re searching for individuals who can provide high-quality service to all tenants and understands the worth of exceptional customer service. If you enjoy a early schedule and want to gain experience working in different luxurious residential and commercial buildings - or if you want to grow into the security/hospitality industry- this is the job for you! Who You Are: • You enjoy a part time schedule • You enjoy working in a commercial setting • You have a confident personality and enjoy interacting with others. • You have excellent communication skills. • You work well with other members of the building such as store managers, store staff, supers, porters, and building staff. • You work well under little direct management. • You are reliable, punctual, and have superb attendance. • Capable of refraining from electronic devices What We Offer: • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Paid Sick Time Off • Commuter Program • Employee Referral Program • 401k Schedule: • Saturday 10:00 am- 9:00 pm • Sunday/Monday 10:00 am - 7:00pm Pay Rate: • $19.00/hr Site Location: • New York, NY 10036 Requirements: • Standing throughout the duration of the shift (No leaning/ sitting) • Must have active NYS security guard license. • Must have ability to stay OFF electronic devices • Active cell service • Concierge experience preferred Description: • Welcome all guests into the buildings. • Remain vigilant to customers coming in and out • Standing post • Handle questions and concerns in a professional manner • Ensure that all visitors are paying customers • Uphold and enforce all agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. • Answer facility phones in a professional manner; keep a record of all actively engaged in the building clearly and articulately in logbooks • Maintain a clean and pleasant environment. • Assist with opening/closing of doors. • Assist with upkeeping and cleaning on lobby areas or designated common areas.
