Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Store Manager to lead our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring the achievement of sales goals in a fast-paced automotive parts environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate a team to excel. Duties • Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and performance management • Oversee inventory management, stock control, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities • Manage POS systems, pricing strategies, and sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction • Coordinate purchasing activities to maintain optimal inventory levels while controlling costs • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies • Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth store operations • Lead shift management by scheduling staff effectively to meet business needs • Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, sales analysis, and financial reporting • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership Skills • Proven management experience in retail or automotive parts stores with supervisory responsibilities • Strong negotiation, sales management, and customer service skills • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting • Proficiency in inventory control systems, POS technology, and retail math applications • Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers • Experience in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and team building • Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, pricing policies, and store presentation • Competence in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial oversight • Leadership qualities with a focus on coaching staff for performance improvement and growth • Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and professionally • Strong phone etiquette and organizational skills for administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional eager to lead a successful automotive store while fostering a team-oriented environment.
