Sacramento Gun Range (SGR) is looking for motivated individuals with outgoing personalities and significant customer service background, to work in our indoor gun range and retail store located in Sacramento, California. This job is a the first step in a potential career with SGR Starting pay starts around $17 - $18 per hour plus tips and commissions, based on performance. If you have a California COE, SGR is offering a $500 signing bonus to join our team! (terms and conditions apply) SGR is a family focused facility that caters to education and safety related to firearms. We are the 2nd largest indoor gun range in California with a retail pro shop consisting of over 6,500 square feet of retail space and upwards of $2 Million in inventory. The right candidates will have an outgoing personality and retail sales experience. Firearm knowledge not required. Additional skills such as excellent interpersonal skills, computer literacy, ability to multi-task and being a team player are also important factors. Anyone applying must be able to legally possess a firearm (therefore at least 21 years of age). Position Responsibilities Include: Experience in operating cash register, personal computer and various software packages, including POS and inventory management systems. • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. • Readily able to study and develop a knowledge base of company products, policies, and procedures • Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and accessories helpful. • Knowledge of ATF Compliance regulations helpful. • Should have some background or experience around firearms and must be comfortable working in the firearms industry Position Requires: • Retail sales or customer service experience required. • Must be legally able to purchase and posses firearms to ensure compliance of firearms sales department and must be at least 21 years of age. • Must have strong communication and leadership skills. • Ability to communicate with employees and various business contacts in a courteous, professional, and positive manner. • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment. • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all associates.
