Overview Sabelhaus West Inc. (SWI) is looking to have an Accounting & Administrative Assistant join our team to support our state-wide operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented team member who thrives in a support role and enjoys keeping office operations running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, communicates well, and brings a helpful attitude to everyday tasks. SWI is a construction contractor that specializes in surface prep and application of coatings (paint) in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Projects are typically located on military/federal facilities, public facilities, and high-end residential projects. Commercial work includes: campus facilities, schools, hotels, high rises, hospitals, office facilities. Industrial work includes: shipyards, bridges, tank farms, factory maintenance painting, dams, and various infrastructure. Our residential work typically includes waterfront homes or custom high-end homes. This position will be integral in working with accounting & payroll, contracting, and other managers. Ultimately, our company is built around relationships with our clients, vendors, and employees. Professionalism and support are very important! Duties and Responsibilities Accounting Support • Data entry and coding of invoices • Assists in accounts payable Payroll Support • Assist with certified payroll • Back up time card process between Procore and Sage systems General Office Support • Filing and archiving • Scheduling of hotels & ferries for out-of-town crews • Back up other office positions • Assist/Collaborate with other team members to support daily operations Receptionist • Professionally answer and direct incoming phone calls • Be the friendly face of our organization • Maintain order and general appearance of our facility with light cleaning if time permits Education/Experience/Credentials • HS Diploma or GED; an associate’s degree a plus • At least one to three years’ experience in accounting & payroll support • Proficient in MS Office products especially in Excel • Experience with Sage accounting is a plus Administrative Requirements • Have reliable transportation to make it to work on time • Show proof of citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. • Pass a background and security check (typically 10 years back) to work with our clients Work Hours, Job Setting, and Uniform requirements • Flexible schedule of 32 to 40hrs a week • Company hours of operation are typically from 6am to 3:30pm, MON through FRI • Office setting • Business casual attire Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan Work Location: In person
