Experienced in leading enterprise-level projects with strong governance, financial tracking, and cross-functional coordination but no direct data science or analytics tool expertise.
Job Summary (in list format): Program Manager, Data Science and Analytics - Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of analytics and data science projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, IT) to define project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations. - Translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies to drive sales growth or cost savings. - Track and quantify project outcomes using corporate success metrics; analyze project efficiency and recommend improvements. - Communicate analytics strategies and insights to senior leadership and influence decision-making. - Develop and implement best practices for workflow management, automation, and scalability of analytics initiatives. - Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project transparency and alignment. - Assess project risks, track key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed. - Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects, balancing priorities and talent utilization. - Foster a data-driven decision-making culture and support organizational transformation and change management initiatives. - Identify innovation and optimization opportunities to drive profitability and business impact. - Maintain strong relationships and collaborate effectively across departments. - Demonstrate strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and operational execution. - Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ensure compliance with data governance, regulatory requirements, and ethical AI standards. - Utilize analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). - Leverage knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their analytics tools. - Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, PMP certification, and experience in insurance or financial services, as well as Agile project management.
