Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist at Saalex, you will play a pivotal role in driving advanced analytics projects and developing predictive models that inform strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems. - You will analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. - You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. - You will mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance to the analytics team. - You will communicate findings and insights through clear visualizations and presentations. - You will stay current with emerging data science techniques and tools to continuously improve methodologies. - You will ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process. - You will contribute to the development of data strategies that align with company goals. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or related fields. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. - Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn). - Expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Experience working with large datasets and SQL databases. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark. - Background in a specific industry such as finance, healthcare, or defense.
