Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist at Saalex, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sophisticated data models and algorithms to solve complex business challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive growth. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models to support business objectives. - You will analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends. - You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate data science solutions into products and services. - You will lead data-driven projects from conception through deployment and monitoring. - You will mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance to the team. - You will communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - You will stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies. What You Bring: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or a related field. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. - Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). - Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the defense or government contracting sectors. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields. - Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
