This role involves close collaboration with IT and cross-functional teams to support application modernization initiatives and ensure seamless, high-quality production deployments. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently while exercising sound technical judgment and architectural leadership. Candidate Skills and Qualifications 10 Years – Required Progressive experience in systems analysis and business application design 10 Years – Required Design and development of multi-tier Java/J2EE applications (Java design patterns, MVC, JSP, Servlets, Spring / Spring Boot) 5 Years – Required Hands-on experience with SOA-based architecture; strong in XML, HTML, WSDL, JavaScript, AJAX, JSF, jQuery, NodeJS 5 Years – Required Advanced scripting capabilities 5 Years – Required Experience in Bash and Python scripting 5 Years – Required Managing development pipelines and coordinating with PMs (scrums, sprint tracking, etc.) 5 Years – Required Proficiency with SVN, GitHub, and JIRA 4 Years – Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 4 Years – Required Experience as a technical lead driving modernization and optimization efforts 4 Years – Preferred Familiarity with custom-built applications related to vehicle registration or titling 2 Years – Preferred Experience with Maxenso 2 Years – Preferred Working knowledge of Natural / COBOL 2 Years – Preferred Experience with Linux and DB2 databases 2 Years – Preferred Working knowledge of JCL Job Type: Contract Pay: $122,971.43 - $148,094.63 per year Application Question(s): • Please apply only if you are currently based in Texas and do not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
