Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst and Project Manager to support the firm s post-trade processing environment across Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technology, business analysis, and project delivery experience within the financial services industry, with a focus on operations, post-trade workflows, and process automation. Key Responsibilities • Act as the bridge between business users and technology teams for post-trade processing systems. • Conduct detailed business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping for new and existing IT initiatives. • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications. • Identify and document gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in processes and systems; propose scalable solutions. • Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders across technology, operations, and compliance. • Support current post-trade platforms and data flows, ensuring system stability and adherence to IT governance standards. • Participate in root cause analysis, define fixes, and coordinate with development/support teams. • Maintain documentation, test cases, and user stories for enhancements and system changes. • Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and operational efficiency goals. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA a plus. • 10 15 years of combined experience in IT, Business Analysis, and Project/Program Management, preferably in financial services. • Strong technical background experience with SQL, data analysis, data warehousing, and messaging platforms (e.g., MQ, Kafka). • Hands-on experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and process re-engineering. • Familiarity with job schedulers, vendor feeds, and post-trade workflows (Equities/Fixed Income/Derivatives). • Ability to analyze and document business and system requirements for trading and operations applications. • Strong understanding of data integration, feeds, and reconciliation processes. • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors in a matrixed environment. • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Back Office / Operations IT systems (e.g., Broadridge, GLOSS, Impact, etc.). • Experience working with Agile or hybrid project methodologies. • Familiarity with regulatory reporting and settlement processes. • Technical proficiency in Excel, SQL scripting, and visualization tools for data analysis.
