Position Summary The Vice President, Executive Broker is responsible for defining the strategic vision for the brokerage business, driving business results and ensuring demonstrably positive contributions to Ryan Specialty’s financial and strategic performance indicators. The role cultivates a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the brokerage team. They collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to champion profitability, operational effectiveness and compliance. What will your job entail? Job Responsibilities: • Defines and develops brokerage policies and strategies that propel business and organizational performance. Reviews the Go to Market strategy of the Brokerage business, revenue targets and market expansion plans. • Serves as the advisor for the executive leadership team, answers technical brokerage queries and strategically inputs on decisions that have an impact beyond the brokerage business. • Translates strategic vision into impactful financial results, ensuring the brokerage business contributes to the organizational success while meeting the key financial indicators. • Sponsors and authorizes strategic projects that have a direct impact on brokerage business and the organization’s revenue and closely monitors their progress, execution, and results. • Leads the merger and acquisition activities for the brokerage business, oversees the screening of potential acquisition targets and crafts mutually beneficial partnerships that unlock new opportunities for growth. • Partners with internal and external executive leadership, effectively negotiating critical issues and influencing policy direction pertaining to wholesale brokerage in the insurance industry. • Collaborates closely with the executive leadership team to provide continuous feedback on the existing processes of the brokerage business and suggests ways to improve efficiency. • Represents Ryan Specialty in industry associations and thought leadership, influences best practices and regulations that benefit both Ryan Specialty and the broader insurance landscape. Work Experience and Education: • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. • 15+ years of work experience in Wholesale Brokerage, Commercial Insurance coverages, Sales, and Risk Management preferred.7+ years of management experience is preferred. The target salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
