This includes leading the project management for integration of acquired companies, as well as identifying and implementing financial process improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. This position works closely with leadership within finance and across the enterprise. Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results: People: Creates a positive team experience. Works with a cross-functional integration team to achieve desired results. Manages and motivates a team of finance transformation professionals. Client: Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders. Represents the finance function on cross-functional teams. Interfaces with Executives, Principals, and functional leaders to identify and establish measurable goals of finance transformation initiatives. Establishes and provides system and process training to acquired organization. Value: Leads project management for Finance/Accounting for integration of acquired companies, including: Assist with defining the scope of the integration project. Assist with developing a project work plan. Identifies and implements financial process improvements, including: Analyzing current processes. Identifying opportunities for improvement and developing/implementing solutions. Measuring the impact of improvements and quantifying improvement in effectiveness and efficiency. Prepare draft presentations to management regarding strategic initiatives. Timely identifies and escalates issues as they arise. Assists with other projects as needed and other assigned duties. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred or equivalent of at least 15 years Accounting and Management experience in the professional services industry. Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum). Exposure to M&A, integration, or process improvement is a plus. Other experience includes: Current knowledge of GAAP. Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives. Experience with accounting transaction process flows and systems, lead integration integrate or improve existing processes like Order to Cash and Procure to Pay. Experience in merger and acquisitions accounting matters. Excellent written and oral professional communication skills with attention to detail. Microsoft Planner (previously Microsoft Projects) and Smartsheet experience. Ability to establish and meet deadlines. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Planner, exposure to accounting and billing systems, and internet navigation/research. Experience with Workday and Salesforce a plus. Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license required. PMP Preferred Supervisory Responsibilities: Works independently and provides leadership to finance and other cross-functional teams as required. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws. Work Environment: Standard indoor working environment. Extended periods of sitting while working at computer. Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels. Independent travel requirement: Less than 10%. May work non-standard hours to accommodate global time zones as needed.
