As a Manager of Procurement at RXO, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of acquiring goods and services necessary for a company's operations. This role is crucial to ensuring seamless procurement operations, effective supplier management, and cost-efficient processes, ultimately contributing to the organization's financial success and operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like: Oversee the entire Purchase-to-Pay process, from requisition to payment, ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance, and efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather procurement requirements and facilitate the procurement process to meet business needs promptly Monitor procurement metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization Serve as the in-house expert on Coupa, our procurement platform, and lead its effective utilization across the organization Conduct Coupa training sessions for team members, ensuring they are proficient in using the platform and following the established procurement workflows Collaborate with suppliers to enable them through one of Coupa billing channels to streamline payment processes and reduce manual intervention Manage supplier contracts, negotiations, and renewals to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration to improve overall supplier performance and reliability Effectively collaborate with suppliers to resolve any procurement-related issues and ensure smooth communication and resolution for the benefit of the business Provide procurement support to various business units and departments, guiding them through the procurement process, sourcing strategies, and supplier selection At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience 5 years of experience in procurement, with a specific focus on managing the Purchase-to-Pay process and supplier relationships It’d be great if you also have: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in using Coupa or other procurement platforms to support procurement activities Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers • Proficiency in using Excel or other data analysis tools Does this sound like you?
