As a Director, Operations in Managed Transportation at RXO, your focus will be successfully managing client relationships, meeting or exceeding client expectations, and working to ensure effective operational solutions and service improvements. What your day-to-day will look like: Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs; serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or high-level critical issues Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial performance Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers to assess service needs and usage trends on a regular basis Execute individually assigned components of startup action plans Participate in developing integration plans to support client and company initiatives Direct, develop, mentor and lead operational teams Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial performance, safety, quality and customer service What you’ll need to excel: At a minimum, you’ll need: 7 years of logistics experience Experience in a managerial role Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems It’d be great if you also have: Bachelor’s degree in Management or Logistics Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends; travel up to 25% of the time The capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic, results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the results In this role, you’ll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers.
