Job Title: Financial Analyst Senior Location: System Business Office Department Name: Financial Services Req #: 0000225289 Status: Salaried Shift: Day Pay Range: $75,597.00 - $106,781.00 per year Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Services Position Summary: Provides financial system support to the corporate accounting team and its stakeholders. Creates and communicates business requirements and manages change from the Business side. Identifies and implements areas for process improvement through utilization of available technology. Responsible for validating and performing user testing of system changes including test scenario development. Acts as a liaison between Corporate Finance and IT teams to oversee projects and ensure stakeholder deliverables are met. Primary Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in the General Ledger related to Accounts Payable, Inventory, Payroll, and other interfaces. • Understands functionality of individual modules in addition to the interconnectedness of modules. • Design, test and implement new system functionality in PeopleSoft. • Support peers and business partners in designing and setting maintainable system functionality. • Act as a liaison between Corporate Accounting and IT. • Meets with business stakeholders to understand needs, document processes, and translate them into functional specifications. • Drive IT projects for Corporate Finance team and ensure successful and timely implementation of new reports and functionality. • Create process documentation for newly implemented projects to help inform end users. • Identify and implement areas for process improvement through utilization of available technology, when necessary, collaborate across functional areas. • Expertise in PeopleSoft query, PeopleSoft allocations, and nVision report building to enhance end user analytics and experience. • Optimize General Ledger ChartFields and reporting trees to meet internal and external financial reporting requirements. • Train new employees on PeopleSoft and BlackLine. • Administer PeopleSoft ChartFields, elimination sets and reporting trees which are critical to financial reporting. • Function as the system administrator for BlackLine accounting software. • Assist external auditors with system requests and report needs. • Conduct system consolidation through a professional managed process. • Coordinate the opening and closing of financial fiscal periods. • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications/Education/Training/C • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required • Minimum 5 years work experience • Experience in PeopleSoft General Ledger, PeopleSoft Query, nVision, and other applications is preferred • General experience understanding Fiscal policies and procedures Skills and Abilities: • Must have excellent analytical skills. • Must have excellent reporting skills in various products like Excel • High systems aptitude and desire for process improvement and automation. • Able to manage multiple priorities on an ongoing basis while maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners. • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple stakeholders • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
