Job Title: Coordinator Materials Mgmt Location: RWJ New Brunswick Department: Distribution Req#: 0000198494 Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview The supply chain facility coordinator is responsible for facilitating, implementing, and measuring all supply chain activities in the assigned areas at the direction of supply chain management. The supply chain facility coordinator supervises assigned supply chain clerks. Consistently anticipates customer needs and expectations; responds to supply inquiries in a timely and effective manner. Performs procurement activities in a cost-effective manner using current inventory management processes and procedures. Responsible for managing product demand and inventory levels using PAR tools to ensure product availability while minimizing inventory expenses. Works with clinical resource directors and supply chain managers to secure approval of all new and different item requests prior to requisitioning. Qualifications Required • Attire should be business-appropriate • High School Diploma required • Excellent customer service skills required Preferred • Supervisory experience preferred • Healthcare supply chain operations experience preferred • Valid NJ Driver's License preferred • Supervisory experience preferred • Healthcare supply chain operations experience preferred Scheduling Requirements • Days 6am-2:30pm • Mon-Fri Weekend rotation/Holiday • FT Essential Functions: Risk of injury from equipment used in moving products. Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 lbs. All departments, patients, family, visitors, nursing, clinical and medical staff. Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training, and initiatives. Assist the manager with identifying areas of improvement and create a plan to address them. Maintains a working knowledge of all systems and equipment used in the department. Supervises personnel functions for direct reports, including training to achieve maximum staff productivity using automated systems to reduce expenses. Ensures direct reports observe all organizational and department policies and procedures. Ensures monthly Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded. Performs monthly documented inspections and audits of all inventory areas managed by the supply chain. Responsible for the research, mitigation, and resolution of customer concerns and escalates when needed. Responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunctions, and facility damage i.e. walls, ceiling tiles, etc. Performs all other duties as assigned.
